What are Featured Snaps?

Featured Snaps are a new addition to the SparkPlug app, designed to highlight key training materials, updates, or messages. Featured Snaps can be seen by all employees in linked retailers, broadening your reach whether or not you have Sparks running.

How to Create a Featured Snap

  1. Log in to Your SparkPlug Account:

    • Access the SparkPlug app and log in using your credentials.

  2. Navigate to the Snaps Section:

    • On the dashboard, find and click on the "Snaps" section in the main menu.

  3. Create a New Snap:

    • Click the "Create Snap" button.

    • Select the Brand and Markets you'd like to make a featured snap for.

      • πŸ”Š Note: Featured Snaps will be viewable to employees across all retailers in the selected Markets, regardless of whether you are linked with that retailer or not.

  4. Open the Editor and Make Your Snap:

    • Use the editor to create your Snap. Enter the title, description, and any content you wish to include.

    • Add any multimedia elements, such as images or videos, to make your Snap more engaging.

  5. Save and Publish:

    • Once you have finished creating your Snap, click "Save" to store it as a draft or "Publish" to make it live immediately.


Managing Featured Snaps

  • Setting a Snap Live and Removing it:

    • You can set a Snap live and remove it from the Snaps page at any point. Snaps will remain live until they are removed.

  • Viewing Analytics:

    • You can see the engagement analytics of your Snaps by downloading the CSV file from the Snaps page.


Best Practices for Using Featured Snaps

  • Keep Content Relevant: Only feature Snaps that are crucial for your team’s immediate attention.

  • Update Regularly: Rotate featured Snaps to keep the content fresh and engaging.

  • Use Clear and Concise Titles: Ensure the title of your Snap clearly indicates its purpose or content.

  1. How many Snaps can be featured at a time?

    • You have one Featured Snap per brand on SparkPlug. That Featured Snap; however, can be unlimited slides, but it's best to keep the number of featured Snaps manageable to avoid overwhelming employees.

  2. How can I track the engagement of a featured Snap?

    • SparkPlug provides analytics on Snap engagement, allowing you to see how many employees have viewed and interacted with the Snap. You can download the CSV file from the Snaps page for detailed analytics
