Custom Rewards give you flexibility to recognize course completions with prizes beyond standard cash payouts. You can use items like raffle entries, branded swag, product samples, or special perks to keep training engaging.
Follow the steps below to set up a Course with Custom Rewards.
1. Start a New Course
Log in to your SparkPlug dashboard.
From the main menu, go to Courses.
Click Create Course and enter the course name, description, and any other basic details.
2. Choose Fulfillment Type
In the Rewards section of the course setup, find Fulfillment Type.
Select Custom by You.
This tells SparkPlug that you will handle delivering the reward yourself.
3. Add Reward Details
Enter a clear description of the prize (e.g., “Company hoodie,” “Raffle entry,” or “VIP lunch with the team”).
Include instructions for participants on how to claim the reward after completing the course.
Save your changes.
Tip: Keep descriptions specific so team members know what they will earn.
4. Launch and Track
Publish your course when ready.
As team members finish the course, SparkPlug records each completion.
You can view progress and completions in the Analytics or Courses tab.
5. Fulfill Rewards
Because you selected Custom by You, SparkPlug does not ship or process these prizes. Make sure to deliver the reward promptly based on the instructions you provided.
SparkPlug charges a $1 platform fee per course completion for Custom Rewards.
