How to Add User-Generated Content (UGC) to a Course

Updated over 3 weeks ago

User-generated content (UGC) is now available in SparkPlug Courses! This powerful feature lets you collect employee feedback through photos and videos—perfect for sharing real-world execution, engagement, and creativity.

Add the UGC Upload Module

In the Course editor, locate the Image/Video Upload module.
Drag and drop it into your course just like any other module.

Add a Prompt

Customize the module with a prompt that tells employees what kind of photo or video to submit.
Examples:

  • “Upload a photo of your display setup”

  • “Record a short video describing a customer interaction”

Save and Set the Course Live

Once you're finished editing, click Save and then set the Course to Live.
Team members will now see the upload prompt as part of their training.

Viewing UGC Submissions

After users begin submitting content, you can view and download submissions directly from the Course details page.

View and Download Submissions

  • Navigate to the Course details page.

  • Scroll to the question that uses the UGC module.

  • Click “View” to open all employee photo and video submissions.

  • Download any submission you’d like to save or share.
